Swami came out at 3:00 p.m.
and went straight to His room at the Mandir.
At 3:10 p.m., He came out and sat in His chair at the lobby in Sai Kulwant Hall.
Poem Recitation
As soon as Swami came
out, one Mr. Raju, who is the chairman of Nagarjuna Construction started reading
poems he had composed on Swami and sports day. He recited the poems until 3:40
p.m.
Speakers
From 3:40 p.m., three
speakers spoke. They were:
Mr. Sanjay Sahani - ex-student and principal of Brindavan Campus
Mr. Narasimha Murthy - Warden of Brindavan campus
Mr. S.V.Giri - Vice Chancellor of Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning
During his talk, Narasimha murthy requested Swami not to suffer the ordeal of
bringing out a Lingam this year. He requested Swami to materialize the Lingam by
waving his hands. Narasimha Murthy finished his talk around 4:35 p.m.
Soon after, Swami materialized a Lingam by waving His Hand.
It was a big Golden Lingam 3 inches in length.
Mr. S.V. Giri spoke till 4:50 p.m.
Divine Discourse
From 4:50 - 5:50 Swami
delivered His Divine Discourse
Main theme of the discourse was on how to conduct Satsang.
Swami said that Satsang is unity in thought word and deed.
Swami then spoke about Sathyam (truth) and Rhythm. How the two are connected. He
said that Sathyam is very important and should always be followed. Swami said
Rhythm can be called as Transcendental Truth in English. That is Truth that does
not change at all in past, present or future.
Swami ended the discourse with the Bhajans "Sathyam Jnanam Anantham
Brahma..."
Bhajans
As soon as the
discourse was over, Swami asked the Bhajans to start.
Lingodhbhavam
Swami went inside the
Mandir and came back at 6:35 p.m.
After Swami came back, He started drinking lots of water.
At 7:10 p.m. Swami manifested a lingam (Lingodhbhavam).
At 7:15 p.m. Swami retired to Poornachandra.
Bhajans are continuing overnight.
